There are no functional drawbacks, but the concrete should be professionally poured and ground to achieve the desired look.

How much does exposed screed cost?

The price range for laying screed is 13–69 Euro per square meter.

Once the concrete floor is installed, it is polished to become exposed screed, creating a decorative and stylish surface. Skilled craftsmen grind the screed with increasingly finer steps until the desired shine is achieved.

Variants include matte, high-gloss, and mirror-like floors. The screed is further polished and optionally sealed or coated.
